Between John Davis of the one part and John Grimes of the other part a ll of the sate of K Witnesseth that the said Davis intending to ma certain provision for his wife Elizabeth DAvis, her use of which he intending not to leave it in his power ; and in consideration also fo the sum of five shil to hime the said Davis in hand paid by the said John Grimes and John Bell he the said Davis hath sold and delivered unto the said John Grime and John Bel one Negor man slave named Fortune and one Negro woman slave named Aimey with the future increse of the said Aimey to have and tohold the said Slaves and the future increase of the said Aimey unto the said John Grimes and John Bell and their heirs to the uses upon the trusts and to the intents and purposes herin after expressed (to wit) that the whole of the profits and monies arising fromthe labour and services of the said Fortune and Aimey, and the future increase of the said Aimey, shall on the twenty fivth day of December annually to commence on the 25th day of December last past, be paid by the said John Grmes and John Bel to the said Elizabeth Davis control of the said Elizabeth Davis and said trust to and the said slaves to revert to the said John Davis s. In Witness whereof the parties hereto have set their and affixed their Seals the day and year above mentioned.
