Some Pioneers of Central Arizona
This file began with some research on Columbus Gray who settled in the Salt River Valley in August of 1868. It expanded into other pioneer families including the Greenhaws, who traveled with the Grays from Union County, Arkansas, and the Ormes of Maryland. These families were early participants in the reclamation of the Salt River and in early Maricopa County and Arizona Territorial government.
